Seamless Airport Arrival

When you step into the terminal, an airport hostess greets you warmly. She collects your passports and baggage claims, then swiftly guides you past lines for immigration and customs. Next, your luggage is quickly retrieved and loaded into a private van. Within 20 minutes, you’re heading to the luxurious JW Marriott. (formerly the Trump Ocean Club)

Luxurious Accommodations

Your chauffeur drops you at the hotel’s entrance, where bellmen escort you to reception for your prepaid room keys. The JW Marriott, Panama’s finest, offers everything you need for a comfortable stay, before and after fishing from our island all-inclusive fishing lodge.

Day 1: Fly to the Fishing Grounds

The adventure starts early at 5:30 AM. Your English-speaking chauffeur drives you to Albrook National Airport, entering directly into the hangar. There, you board a sleek, five-passenger twin-engine Piper Aztec for a scenic 50 minute flight over the Panama Canal to Lago Bay Air Strip. Upon landing, take a 20 minute shuttle to Santa Catalina (cool surfing village) board a panga for 5 minute shuttle out to the JOKER waiting out front of the beach.

Approximately 8:00 AM, Captain Tom welcomes you aboard the JOKER, and you begin your first full day, of fishing at rarely visited, most beautiful islands, Jicaron & Jicarita at the edge of Continental Shelf drop off – into deep Ocean water. Fishing  marlin, tuna, wahoo, cubera and many other possible gamefish species

World-Class Sportfishing

The JOKER, equipped with top-quality gear and a skilled crew, delivers a world-class sportfishing experience. You’ll fish among pristine, uninhabited tropical islands and target Wahoo, Roosterfish, Cubera, Yellowfin Tuna, Black Marlin, and other exciting species.

Fishing Schedule and Highlights

Each day, you depart the lodge at 6:30 AM and return around 6:00 PM. The best fishing often occurs in the first and last two hours of daylight, so you maximize your time on the water. Additionally, the crew ensures every detail enhances your adventure.

Comfortable Lodge Experience

Your lodging in Bahia Honda while not luxurious, it’s comfortable and sits on the water with views of the dock and boat. Moreover, all meals and an open premium bar are included for your enjoyment at this all-inclusive fishing lodge.

Final Fishing Day and Return

On the last fishing day, you start earlier to maximize water time. You fish until returning to Santa Catalina to meet the shuttle van to Lago Bay for return flight to Panama City and  shuttle to JW Marriott.

Or… Spend the night in one of Santa Catalina’s many hotels, then fly back to Panama City to meet your flight home.

The next day, your chauffeur takes you to Tocumen International Airport, where your hostess expedites check-in. She handles luggage and provides boarding passes, ensuring a smooth process. Meanwhile, you relax in a private lounge until boarding time, when the hostess escorts you to your gate. No need to speak Spanish, carry luggage, or navigate unfamiliar steps—our all-inclusive fishing lodge experience has got you covered.
